The Intro to Racing program is targeted to skiers aged 7 to 16. The goal is improving overall skiing competencies through technical improvement, faster paced skiing, and introduction to racing environment through the use of training gates.
Program requirements: Intersted skiers must have the physical ability to ski parallel 90 percent of the time on blue/black slopes at Mount St Louis Moonstone. Specifically, skiers must be able to parallel ski to hockey stop, comfortable in entry level bumps, side slip and quick stops-wedge turns at gates to parallel between gates. Helmet and goggles are mandatory.
Lift ticket is required and is not included in the cost of the program.
