Track3 Assistance

Access for All

MSLM believes every student should have the right to learn & safely participate in skiing & snowboarding.

Would your student(s) benefit from personal instruction rather than a group based lesson setting? If your students emotional, intellectual, behavioral challenges or physical abilities require special adaptive equipment and training, MSLM partners with Track3

For Track3 assistance please contact Snowschool Director Jim Morris through email [email protected].

Helpful Hints to Stay Warm

3-layer approach

  1. Wicking (worn next to your skin keeping moisture and sweat away form your skin)
  2. Insulating (middle layer that keeps the cold out and warmth in)
  3. Protection (exterior layer to guard against elements)

Good

  • Loose Insulating layer allowing a full range of movement
  • Long underwear & footless tights
  • Wool or acrylic socks
  • Goggles. Wearing eye protection with UV

Bad

  • Cotton. It will absorb sweat and make you shiver.
  • Bulky insulating layer
  • Wearing more than one pair of socks can lead to unwanted blisters, restrict circulation and result in cold feet.
  • Long scarves
