Instructor Candidates Must:

● Demonstrate proficiency in skiing or snowboarding, (entry level certification with the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors, the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance, Professional Ski Instructors of Canada, or Alpine Canada Alpine Coaching or Freestyle Coaching).

● Possess a passion for teaching & a commitment to safety.

● Ability to convey instructions clearly & effectively to students of all levels,

● 1 season of teaching experience as a ski or snowboard instructor or equivalent sports teaching (e.g., swimming coach, tutor, etc.)

● Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Current Shifts Available

Midweek Days: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm – highly focused towards the resort’s Schools on Snow programs and educational school visits. Teaching involves a large concentration of Elementary school Beginners and continuing to grow a strong Intermediate High School race program.

Evenings: Wednesday to Sunday 5pm – 9pm – teaching guests across all levels, centre of focus involves working with guests in both private and semi-private teaching scenarios.

Weekends: Saturday & Sunday 9am – 9pm – teaching guests across all levels, centre of focus involves working with guests in both private and semi-private teaching scenarios.

Programs: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday nights Early January to mid-March, 6pm – 8pm Develop a stronger connection with your students and enjoy teaching a group of up to 10 students grouped throughout an entire 8 week program.

Positions Available:

All Levels 1 – 4 Ski/Snowboard Instructors

MSLM wants Skiing & Snowboarding Instructors! All interested applicants must have certification with the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI), the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA), Professional Ski Instructors of Canada (PSIC), or Alpine Canada Alpine Coaching or Freestyle Coaching).

Park Instructors

Love hitting jumps, rails, and boxes? MSLM wants Instructors with experience in terrain park riding, to inspire the next generation of freestyle stars. All interested applicants must have their Level 1 Park certification (with CASI, CSIA, PSIC). Shifts are offered on weekends, and evenings along with programs.

 

The Snow School is accepting applications from certified ski and snowboard instructors and coaches from August 1 – September 30 for the above shifts and positions.
