Winter is coming...sadly just not this weekend!

Dec 2, 2015

Wednesday December 2 2015

Mother Nature has decided to delay the start of our ski & snowboard season again. Mount St. Louis Moonstone respectfully disagrees with her position on the weather. MSLM strongly advocates for seasonal temperatures no matter the time of year which should be on December 2nd roughly highs of +2 and lows of -6. MSLM has struggled with snowmaking due to temperatures hovering near zero and -1.

According to friends at the Weather Network, maybe tomorrow will bring some wintery-like weather but the rest of our 7 day forecast includes the temperature spiking up!

Exactly the opposite of what MSLM requires making quality snow that guests have come to expect.

Mount St. Louis Moonstone will not open this weekend and Opening Day is delayed until further notice.

MSLM will make snow when the weather presents opportunity no matter how small that window may be. You can trust in the incredible Snowmaking department and MSLM's phenomenal Techno Alpin snowmaking equipment to provide incredible results with just a few days of favourable temperatures.

Announcements will be made here on Wednesdays by 3pm. Announcements will be that late in the day since 3pm is when Environment Canada updates all weather forecasts. Please Like our Facebook page and Follow us on Twitter and INstagram to see the latest news, events and Opening Day Announcements.

It is highly recommended that Season Pass holders get their passes in advance of Opening Day. Look at Lilly, she's a smart Ski Heart and has already popped into the office and grabbed hers. She’s not waiting in line in the front office to get her pass on Opening Day; she’s straight to the chairlift and shredding it Ski Heart styles. You should be too, so get it done today! MSLM is open 7 days a week from 9am-4pm.

Let the MSLM help the nice people on your Christmas list and stuff their stockings with lift tickets. Be Merry and buy your Value Book of 8 online.

Winter is coming. When it does: GO WHERE THE SNOW IS!
