MT ST LOUIS MOONSTONE CUSTOMERS RAISE 1.5 TONS OF FOOD AND OVER $750 CASH FOR LOCAL FOODBANKS!

Dec 24, 2013

On Friday December 20th, MSLM offered “Night Skiing in the Early Morning” and from 6:30-8:30am skiing and snowboarding was free with a donation of a non-perishable food item or $10 to our local food bank in Coldwater. Over 1.5 TONS of food was donated and over $750 in cash. There was so much food, that MSLM was able to help an additional 2 food banks in Waubaushene and Orillia.

There were some customers that due to bad roads and icy conditions were unable to make the donation deadline of 8:30am and arrived after regular business operation hours. MSLM apologizes to those but in an effort to offset their disappointment, the mountain offered daily skiing and snowboarding rates at a discount despite having all 36 slopes open and the best 2 Terrain Parks in the province, open for riding and sliding. It was an amazing day on the slopes.

MSLM wants to thank everyone who supported this charitable initiative with their donations. As a result, their generosity helped to ease local families’ challenges during this holiday season. On behalf of the Huter family, thank you.
